Abhishek Sharma was at his absolute destructive best against arch-rivals Pakistan for the second time in eight days in the Super 4 match of the ongoing Asia Cup. The southpaw's 74 propelled India to a commanding six-wicket victory at the Dubai International Stadium. However, what made headlines was the opening batter's post on social media, which made netizens extremely happy.
In the post Abhishek shared on Instagram, there were action shots from the epic match, his superb 105-run opening partnership with vice-captain Shubman Gill, who scored a brisk 47 off 28 balls. The post had a simple yet powerful message, which read: "You talk, we win."

The match, as it often does in India-Pakistan clashes, yet again turned out to be a one-sided affair, with India calling all the shots. There were some fiery moments as well when Gill and Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi exchanged intense glances after four were scored with ease. Abhishek and Haris Rauf also engaged in fiery on-field exchanges before the on-field umpires claimed the moments of friction.
"Today was pretty simple. The way they were coming out to us without any reason, I did not like it all," Abhishek said after being named player of the match. "That's why I went after them. I wanted to deliver for the team."
India shows who is the boss after easy win
Speaking about the match, India opted to field first. While they did not have a good day in the field by dropping quite a few easy catches, the bowlers, led by Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya, brought them back by bowling well in the back end of the innings. However, the target of 171/5 set by Pakistan was a challenging one.

However, India's openers Gill and Abhishek came out with a positive intent and scored runs at a brisk pace. Their 105-run stand set up the foundation of the chase. While the duo was not there to finish the chase, the damage was already done. With yet another commanding win over Pakistan, India proved that it owns Pakistan in cricket.
