The West Indies have named a 15-man squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Pakistan. The matches will be played on August 8, 10 and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad.
Romario Shepherd has returned to the ODI side for the first time since the home series against Bangladesh in 2024. He had missed the England tour earlier this year due to the rescheduled IPL playoffs.
Fast-bowler Alzarri Joseph has been rested for this series. He recently played in the Test and T20I series against Australia and has been given a break as part of workload management. Romario Shepherd comes in his place.

Amir Jangoo, Jewel Andrew, Jediah Blades Retained for Pakistan ODI Series
Jewel Andrew, who made his ODI debut last year against Sri Lanka, retains his place. The 18-year-old was also part of the ODI series against England and continues to be seen as a long-term investment in the wicketkeeper-batter role.
Left-arm seamer Jediah Blades, who had a brief taste of ODI cricket in the Bangladesh series last year, is included in the squad. The selectors have shown faith in his ability to offer variety in the pace attack.
Amir Jangoo, who scored a hundred on his ODI debut against Bangladesh last year, also keeps his spot after featuring in the Ireland series in May.
The ODI leg follows a disappointing 2-1 T20I series defeat against Pakistan. However, the West Indies have won their last four ODI series at home and are aiming to qualify directly for the 2027 World Cup.
