Kolkata Knight Riders finisher Rinku Singh is set to tie the knot with MP Priya Saroj in November 2025. The marriage ceremony is planned on a grand scale in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Ahead of the ceremony, Rinku Singh personally extends his wedding invitation to his KKR team owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Rinku Singh previously mentioned that he invited Shah Rukh Khan to his private engagement ceremony; however, the star was unable to attend due to some shooting commitments elsewhere. But the 27-year-old is hopeful that the star will attend the wedding ceremony in Lucknow.
“I had a chat with Shah Rukh Sir before my engagement and even invited him. But he couldn’t make it as he was busy with some shooting. Our CEO, Venky (Mysore) Sir, was there. I have invited Shah Rukh Sir to my wedding as well. Let’s see if he comes," the 27-year-old told News24.

Rinku Singh’s next big assignment ahead of his wedding will be the Asia Cup 2025, as the finisher was picked in the 15-man squad travelling to the UAE. However, his place in the playing XI is not yet confirmed due to the heavy competition he faces from the likes of Shivam Dube and Axar Patel, whom Gautam Gambhir is expected to rely on more because of their ability to offer extra overs with the ball.

Rinku Singh, who last appeared for India in the final T20I against England, had an under-par performance during the IPL season. However, his recent heroics in the UPT20, scoring a quick hundred in a chase and leading his team, Meerut Mavericks, to victory, could make him a serious contender to start for India in the Asia Cup 2025.\
