Instead, Karthik believes that Axar Patel will be appointed as the full-time captain of the Delhi Capitals.

He pointed out that Axar Patel, who has previously captained the Delhi Capitals in the absence of Rishabh Pant, is likely to be prioritized over KL Rahul for the captaincy role.

While KL Rahul is considered the more experienced player and was auctioned for ₹14 crores, Karthik's comments have sparked interest in Axar Patel potentially taking on the captaincy.
